Långeberga is an industrial area in the south of Helsingborg, where there is a concentration of companies within the fruit and vegetables sector. Helsingborg is the hub when it comes to fruit and vegetables. All the big wholesalers are located in the area and the port of Helsingborg is the most important in Sweden for imports of these goods. 95 % of all fruit and vegetables go through Helsingborg. The largest FMCG player in the Nordics (ICA AB) have located one of their hubs at Långeberga Logistics Center.

The Port of Helsingborg is situated in a booming part of the Nordic region and functions as a rail hub and a hub for road freight on the E4 and E6. It is Sweden’s second biggest container port - an important hub for shipping, rail and road freight. These are some of the factors that have made the Port of Helsingborg into one of Sweden’s busiest ports. Over the last few years the port has focused on container handling, and is now an important cog in the machinery of Sweden’s trade and industry, both nationally and regionally. It handles around 280,000 TEU from shipping and around 170,000 TEU from land transport.
