Ishøj - Wintersminde Business Area

Situated only a 20-minute drive from Copenhagen and right next to the motorway, Ishøj’s new commercial site at Winthersminde is perfect for transport and distribution companies.

For the first time in 30 years Ishøj Municipality is expanding its commercial sites and is offer-ing lots for sale at its new Winthersminde site.

Winthersminde is reserved for transport companies, distribution companies and manufactur-ing companies with significant transportation needs.

Winthersminde is in a perfect countryside location just 23 km from Copenhagen, right by a motorway exit (Motorring 4) and close to the E20 and E47. It’s also possible for B-Trains to get access to the area.

Ishøj Municipality is offering lots for sale at Winthersminde in two stages. Stage 1 was put out to tender on August 12, 2015. Buyers will be starting construction work on April 15, 2016. Stage 2 will be put out to tender as soon as the purchase agreements from Stage 1 are finally signed.

Green and blue surroundings

75% of Ishøj is rural and contains picturesque little villages, the beautiful Benzonsdal manor house, Ishøj Animal Park and Ishøj Golf Center.

Winthersminde is close to conference and meeting facilities in surroundings of world-class art and architecture at the Arken Museum of Modern Art. The Museum is in the beautiful area of Strandparken right by the splendid sandy beaches along Køge Bay and the attractive mari-time surroundings of Ishøj Harbour.

A great business climate and an efficient public transport system

In 2015 Ishøj was rated as having the 11th best business climate out of 96 Danish municipali-ties by The Confederation of Danish Industry, and the municipality is particularly known for its speed and competence in processing building applications.

Ishøj has an efficient public transport system with its own S-train station and from 2023 it will also form part of the Greater Copenhagen Light Rail System between Ishøj and Lyngby. Close to the S-train station is Next - Education Copenhagen, which is one of the largest edu-cational institutions in Denmark with students studying various subjects of business on busi-ness and high school level.
