Nordhavn is Copenhagen’s new waterfront district. From an active industrial port, Nordhavn is undergoing a transformation into a modern residential and business district.

Throughout history, Nordhavn has been regularly expanded to create a larger commercial harbour. In this wave of development, the former industrial area is undergoing a transformation into a dense, compact urban district with residential and commercial buildings located on piers and jetties and surrounded by canals, water basins and the open sea. A new modern neighbourhood mixing with the historic harbor atmosphere. The district will be served by two centrally located metro stations. One of the quarter’s characteristic buildings is P-hus Lüders which is nominated for the MIPIM AWARD 2017 in the category Best Refurbished building.

When completed, Nordhavn will be home to 40,000 residents and the same number of employees.  

Nordhavn is owned and developed by CPH City & Port Development.
