PH Park - Hørsholm

Central to  the Development Plan are the residential clusters situated in a recreational lake landscape. Hørsholm Municipality will construct and establish the lake, the landscaping and the infrastructure within the clusters. The aim is for the landscaping to have been completed before the first occupants are ready to move in. The recreational landscape is designated to be used for recreation and exercise, and the selected developers must therefore ensure that parking spaces for the houses are provided in underground parking garages.

PH Park in central Hørshom

PH Park is located in the centre of Hørsholm. Hørsholm Municipality is bidding to transform the former hospital site into a new, attractive residential area in Hørsholm, characterized by innovation, variation and a unique identity - with Øresund and the natural environment right next door and Copenhagen just around the corner.

PH Park will consist of four densely-built residential clusters set in a recreational landscape with a lake centrally located in the park. Each cluster will contain terraced houses, apartment blocks and tower houses. The clusters and individual buildings will be located within the landscape, creating varied landscaping and more intimate garden spaces between the individual buildings.

The landscaping, together with the variations in the design and materials of the buildings, will give the area its very own unique character. The landscaping and lake in PH Park will be designed by Hørsholm Municipality to be a major attraction for new residents and the city as a whole. Water has always played a role in the history of PH Park and will provide the park with a useful and attractive distinguishing feature.

In PH Park, the residential clusters must be varied, with each having a unique identity. The clusters must also include different types of housing to create a diverse mix of occupants. The transformation of the park into an attractive residential area is an important part of Hørsholm Municipality's strategy for future-proofing the demographics of the region.

PH Park will be a green residential area with the focus on creating an innovative, comfortable and safe living environment in the midst of a blue and green landscape.

The residential clusters will be situated within the landscape. They will be surrounded by a diverse environment in which the more formal planting in the courtyards will contrast with the wilder natural environment in the park.

The Development Plan defines the overall principles for the buildings and landscape.  PH Park is located on the central axis of Hørsholm known as Usserød Kongevej. The area is also situated between two other green spaces, with Usserød Ådal to the west and Nattergaleengen to the east. PH Park is therefore connected to the existing infrastructure and green spaces.
