Skandinavisk Transport Center (STC) in Køge is one of Denmark’s biggest logistics and transport hubs. In recent years STC has grown from 130 ha (1,300,000 m2) to 180 ha (1,800,000 m2), with room to expand even more.

There are good reasons why the future lies in Køge

 STC is located in the junction between the E20, E47 and E55 national motorways – one of Denmark’s busiest ‘intersections’. It isn’t far from Copenhagen/CPH Airport, Malmø (Sweden) or the Port of Køge. What’s more, STC in Køge is destined to become a major international transport and logistics hub. One major reason for this is the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link that will connect STC and the city of Køge to the European core network (TEN-T), giving it an ideal position between south and north Europe.

When the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link opens, it will create unprecedented opportunities for business and travel. The fixed link between Denmark and Germany will also open a route for freight trains. The Danish Ministry of Transport estimates that approximately 45 freight trains a day will be coming through Køge from the south of Europe in 2022.
